Fees for a standard 50 minute psychology appointment are as follows:
Weekdays:
Initial session ~ $260
Ongoing sessions ~ $245Saturdays:
Initial session ~ $285
Ongoing sessions ~ $270 -
Clients with a valid referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) can claim Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The Medicare rebate for a session with a generally registered psychologist is $101.55 as at 1 July 2026.
The out of pocket expenses for a standard 50 minute session after accounting for an available rebate are listed below:
Weekdays:
Initial session ~ $158.45
Ongoing session ~ $143.45Saturdays:
Initial session ~ $183.45
Ongoing session ~ $168.45If you have private health insurance, a rebate for psychological services may be available depending on your individual level of coverage. Please refer back to your insurance provider for further details.

If you’re unable to attend your session as planned, I ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice so I can offer the time to others in your place.
Within 48 hours the following cancellation fees apply as a percentage of the full session fee:
48 to 24 hours’ notice ~ 50%
Less than 24 hours’ notice ~ 75%
Non-attendance without notice ~ 100%
I’m unlikely to be a good fit for situations that may be better supported in other ways, or require more substantial support than I can provide as an independent practitioner.

Crisis and Immediate Risk Support
I do not provide crisis or acute care services as may be required for: immediate or acute suicide risk, active psychosis and/or other situations where someone may be at immediate risk of harming themselves or others.
In the event of an emergency, please contact emergency services on 000 or present to your local hospital emergency department.
Higher Risk and/or Intensive Support Needs
Some situations involving high risk or complex conditions may require support that is outside my scope, particularly without appropriate involvement of other supports (e.g. psychiatrist, medical supervision, multidisciplinary care).
These may include: active high risk eating disorders, alcohol/substance use disorders, or situations involving active family and domestic violence and/or other substantial safety risks.

Forensic or Court-Related Matters
I am unable to provide support with ongoing/anticipated family court matters, intervention related to open criminal matters and/or other forensic concerns.
I do not provide medico-legal assessment or reporting services.
Third-Party Funded Services
I do not provide assessment or reporting services for third-party claims or applications, nor do I offer services funded through third-parties at this time.
(such as for WorkCover, DSP, NDIS, DVA, EAP, etc.).
These situations are typically best supported with in-person, specialised and/or multidisciplinary care.
